Meet Sara Welden
Therapist, LPC
She/Her/Hers
Welcome! I’m Sara. Reaching out for support can feel difficult, especially when you’ve been carrying a lot on your own. I believe therapy can be a place for you to feel genuinely seen and understood and begin moving forward with clarity and confidence. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore what you’re experiencing, reconnect with yourself, and feel empowered to create meaningful change. My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you are more than your symptoms or struggles.
I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and feminist and existential theories. I have a particular interest in working with older adults, caregivers, women navigating menopause and other life transitions, and individuals with substance use concerns.
Therapy can offer a space to process change, reconnect with yourself, redefine what fulfillment looks like, and move into the next chapter with confidence and intention. I believe that healing involves developing a deeper understanding of yourself and creating a life that feels more peaceful, fulfilling, and aligned with what matters most to you.
