Meet Katie Joseph

Therapist, LPC

She/Her/Hers

Welcome! Chances are, you are looking for a place to be heard and understood. You’ve come to the right place. I ground my practice in creating a warm and comfortable environment, viewing each individual as already whole, and helping get you to a place where you see yourself as whole. I love working with people on healing childhood wounds, giving yourself what you needed but didn’t get growing up, breaking generational cycles both within yourself and in parenting, and identifying and building off of the strengths you already have.

I use a variety of modalities, including Internal Family Systems, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. I most often work with people on self-understanding and compassion, beliefs about oneself, patterns within self and relationships, values, and finding room to invite change.

I have specialized training and experience in the following areas: adults managing anxiety and depression; working through big life transitions; processing trauma; survivors of intimate partner and domestic violence; pregnancy and postpartum; navigating fertility issues and loss; new parents experiencing postpartum mood-changes and anxiety.

Currently has a waitlist for new clients.

I believe all of us hold the key to our own growth, insight, and intuition; counseling is a tool to help uncover what is innately present, even amid human suffering.
