Meet Kate Thompson

Therapist, LPC

She/Her/Hers

I am an LPC working with presenting concerns such as eating disorders, body dysmorphia, body image stressors, life changes, anxiety, relationship stressors, disordered eating, and panic disorders amongst others.

My therapeutic approach includes a person-centered approach, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavior therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, and trauma-informed care amongst other modalities. I create a safe, supportive environment to help clients develop healthier coping mechanisms and improve their emotional well-being.

I specialize in supporting clients with eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image stressors. I strive to create a safe space for individuals to explore their relationship with food, body image, and eating to challenge rules and negative language in order to access freedom from food and body image thoughts.

I understand that taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but it’s important to remember that you don’t have to face it alone. When you’re ready, we can work together to create positive change and focus on improving your overall well-being. There’s no rush — I’m here to support you at your pace, whenever you feel comfortable reaching out.

Currently has a waitlist for new clients.
